Linda Vita Kenney of Cutchogue, age 66, died of ovarian cancer Dec. 20 in Sarasota, Fla.
Born in White Plains May 15, 1949, Linda was the daughter of Dr. Domenic and Lenore Gabriele of Purchase, N.Y.
Linda, a registered nurse, worked in the nursing profession for 35 years both at Peconic Bay Medical Center and Eastern Long Island Hospital, doing everything from emergency room nursing to administration. But she genuinely liked working with patients, insightful about the problems of others, always trying to help.
After retiring in 2010, Linda and her husband could be found on Siesta Key in Sarasota, where they enjoyed the warm winters, Linda relaxing by the condo pool with her many pals.
Linda is survived by her husband Bob; daughter Megan; her son Bobby and her grandchildren, Luke and Harper.
