Aquebogue resident Harriette A. Wheaton, formerly of Centerport, died Nov. 22, 2015, at home. She was 94.
She was born Dec. 25, 1920, in Nichols, N.Y., to Harry and Grace Burns and was a homemaker.
Predeceased by her husband, Dr. Gordon A. Wheaton (2005), her sister, Marion B. Simon and her great-grandson, Ryan, Harriette is survived by her sons, Mark G. of North Chili, N.Y. and Scott (Sherry) of Aquebogue; her grandchildren, Kirsten (Kevin) Black, John (Melissa) Scelsi, Jeremy (Randylyn) Wheaton and Benjamin (Jennifer) Wheaton; and her great-grandchildren, Dylan, Lauren, Tyler, Rhys and Julianna.
Cremation was private.
Arrangements were entrusted to Coster-Heppner Funeral Home in Cutchogue.
